Environ Consulting Services (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a passionate and experienced Structural Engineer to join our dynamic High-Rise & Complex Buildings team in Kuala Lumpur. As an integral part of our growing engineering consultancy, you will lead structural design solutions for innovative high-rise and complex building projects. Responsibility
- Develop and oversee structural design solutions for high-rise and complex building projects.
- Conduct structural analysis using advanced modelling software to ensure code compliance and project requirements.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, technical reports, and specifications.
- Collaborate closely with architects, MEP engineers, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead site inspections, supervise construction, and resolve technical challenges as required.
- Participate in project meetings, presenting engineering concepts and progress updates to clients.
- Ensure all engineering deliverables meet quality, safety, and sustainability standards.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and draughtspersons within the team.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (Ir./PE) certification or eligibility is highly preferred.
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in structural design for high-rise or complex commercial buildings.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, Revit).
- Strong understanding of Malaysia building codes, regulations, and international standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities in English; Bahasa Malaysia proficiency advantageous.
- Team-oriented attitude with strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
