Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive supervision and care for students in the P1-P6 range during after-school and enrichment activities.
- Assist with daily learning activities, homework guidance, and targeted intervention support.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and guidance strategies aligned with school goals.
- Monitor student progress, behavior, and well-being, and communicate outcomes to teachers and parents.
- Support inclusive education by adapting materials for diverse learners and needs.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom environment that fosters curiosity.
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support student development.
- Model professionalism, empathy, and a growth mindset to inspire confidence in students.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience working with primary school students (P1-P6) is preferred; fresh graduates with relevant internships are welcome.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to design engaging activities and tailor support for varied learning needs.
- Patience, empathy, and a student-centered approach to care and instruction.
- Familiarity with Singapore's education system and classroom practices is a plus.
- Relevant certifications in child care or education support are advantageous.
- Proactive, collaborative, and reliable team player with a positive attitude.
