We are seeking a motivated Surveying Engineer to lead field campaigns, perform data processing, and ensure project deliverables meet the highest quality standards. Responsibility
- Lead and execute survey field operations including boundary, topographic, and control surveys.
- Prepare and review field sketches, data sheets, and QA/QC procedures.
- Process field data using AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and GNSS receivers.
- Prepare survey plats, legal descriptions, and construction stake plans.
- Coordinate with clients, project managers, and field crews to meet deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with state and local surveying standards and safety protocols.
- Mentor junior survey technicians and support staff.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Professional Surveyor license preferred or ability to obtain licensure in CO within 12 months.
- 5+ years of field and office surveying experience.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and GNSS data collection.
- Strong data management, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of surveying regulations and safety practices.
- Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
