Impact Power Mandiri is seeking a dedicated Surveyor to join our field operations in Gresik, East Java. This part-time role focuses on conducting on-site surveys of school facilities and canteens, gathering precise data to support program planning, expansion, and community outreach. You will work closely with school administration (Tata Usaha TU), teachers, and principals to obtain permission, coordinate survey visits, and ensure respectful engagement with students and staff. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and enjoys fieldwork, data collection, and meaningful stakeholder interactions.
As part of the field team, you will perform site measurements, collect observations, capture photos and GPS coordinates, and document findings in clear, structured reports. You will translate field data into actionable insights for our program managers and share findings with internal teams to support planning, procurement, and implementation. The role emphasizes accuracy, privacy, safety, and professional communication, delivering high-quality data under deadlines. You will also maintain organized records of site visits, permissions, and contact details for school staff, contributing to the overall quality and traceability of our projects.

Responsibility
- Conduct on-site surveys of schools and canteens to collect facility data, usage patterns, and safety conditions.
- Meet with school administration (TU), teachers, and principals to obtain permissions and coordinate survey schedules.
- Perform basic measurements, data collection, and GPS data capture with accuracy and integrity.
- Take photos, sketches, and document field observations in structured formats for reporting.
- Prepare clear survey reports and share findings with project managers and internal teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely fieldwork and adherence to project milestones.
- Uphold safety guidelines, protect privacy, and maintain professional relationships with school staff and students.
- Assist with data validation, mapping tasks, and entry into project databases or GIS tools as needed.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; a Diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, or related field is a plus.
- Prior field survey or data collection experience, especially in educational or community settings, preferred.
- Basic knowledge of GPS, mapping, and data collection tools; proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact respectfully with school staff and stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Fluency in Indonesian; English proficiency is a plus.
- Willingness to travel within the region; own transport is a plus.
