Job description

Northstar People Partners is seeking a seasoned Talent Management Lead to shape our leadership development and succession planning across the organization. You will design and implement scalable talent strategies that drive performance, engagement, and retention.

In this role, you will partner with executives to map competency models, lead high-potential programs, and optimize learning experiences using our LMS and HRIS. This is a strategic, hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-first environment.

Responsibility

  • Lead the development and execution of Talent Management programs including competency models, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Design and implement performance management processes that drive continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to identify critical roles, potential successors, and development plans.
  • Develop learning experiences and coaching initiatives leveraging LMS and external partnerships.
  • Analyze talent data to inform workforce planning and remove barriers to retention.
  • Facilitate talent mobility and internal grow-from-within opportunities across teams.
  • Own annual talent review cycles, calibration sessions, and communication plans with stakeholders.
  • Champion change management and culture-building efforts to scale our organization.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 7+ years in Talent Management, HR, or Learning & Development with demonstrated impact.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and LMS platforms; strong data analytics and storytelling for leadership.
  • Experience leading succession planning, leadership development, and performance processes.
  • Strong coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in change management and driving transformational initiatives.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) are a plus.
