Responsibility
- Lead and coordinate corporate tax planning initiatives for mid-to-large multinational clients, including structuring, incentives, and risk assessment.
- Prepare and review UK corporate tax returns, computations, and advance pricing arrangements in line with latest legislation.
- Advise on VAT, stamp duty, and other indirect taxes to optimize overall tax burden.
- Conduct tax risk assessments, documentation, and transfer pricing analyses for cross-border operations.
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and advisory teams to design and implement end-to-end tax solutions.
- Stay abreast of evolving UK and global tax developments and communicate implications to clients clearly.
- Support tax controversy activities, including responding to HMRC queries and managing tax audits.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to knowledge sharing through training sessions and thought leadership.
Qualification
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; professional qualification (CTA/ACCA/ACA) or equivalent.
- 5+ years of UK corporate tax experience, with exposure to VAT, indirect taxes, and transfer pricing.
- Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation, compliance processes, and transfer pricing documentation.
- Proficiency with tax technology and data analytics tools; experience with tax software (Big 4 experience welcomed).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; confident in client-facing interactions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
