Responsibility
- Perform troubleshooting and debugging of electronic, photonic, or optoelectronic components and assemblies.
- Analyze production failures and determine root causes, working closely with engineering teams.
- Provide technical support to the manufacturing floor to minimize downtime and optimize yield.
- Document all debug activities and update relevant engineering logs and reports.
- Utilize advanced test and measurement equipment to conduct detailed diagnostics.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and process efficiency.
- Support the introduction of new products by executing prototype testing and feedback.
- Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards.
Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience in electronics assembly, debug, or technical support roles (fresh graduates with strong practical skills are welcome for Junior Tech level).
- Solid knowledge of electronic circuit analysis, debugging techniques, and test equipment.
- Experience with SMT/PCB assembly, optics, or photonics is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to work shift patterns if required.
