Adecco is partnering with Stat Board to recruit a capable Technical Engineer for Singapore. This full-time role welcomes both junior and experienced engineers who are eager to contribute to essential public-sector projects and infrastructure.
In this position you will design, develop, test, and maintain technical solutions that support Stat Board operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware and software engineers, QA, and operations, to deliver reliable systems on time and to budget. You will also help document specifications, create release notes, and assist with deployment and ongoing support.

Responsibility
- Interpret system requirements and translate into practical engineering specifications for hardware and software components.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain technical solutions aligned with Stat Board goals.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including hardware, software, quality assurance, and operations to ensure robust integration.
- Troubleshoot escalated technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement lasting fixes.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and release notes.
- Support deployment activities and provide post go-live support and optimization.
- Adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards and participate in continuous improvement activities.
Qualification
- Bachelor or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or related technical field
- 1-5 years of engineering experience; juniors welcome for entry level roles
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills; ability to learn quickly
- Experience with design tools, CAD, instrumentation, or control systems is a plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities; ability to document and present technical information
- Proactive, quality minded, and detail oriented with a safety first mindset
- Willingness to work in Singapore on a full-time schedule
