Responsibility
- Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure efficient, safe manufacturing processes for automotive components.
- Conduct routine machine setup, parameter adjustments, and changeovers with thorough documentation of results.
- Inspect and test finished outputs to verify conformance with quality standards; report and escalate defects promptly.
- Maintain accurate production logs, downtime records, and process data to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and 5S housekeeping to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Collaborate with operators, technicians, and supervisors to meet daily production targets while maintaining high quality.
- Identify process inefficiencies and participate in root cause analysis and countermeasures for continual optimization.
- Support line changes, tool changes, and basic preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and maximize throughput.
Qualification
- High school diploma or technical/vocational certification; equivalent hands-on manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or automotive assembly environment is preferred.
- Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to read work instructions, drawings, and SOPs.
- Knowledge of safety standards and PPE usage; familiarity with 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
- Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills; able to work effectively in a collaborative setting.
- Willingness to work in shifts and stand for extended periods; ability to lift up to 25–30 kg as required.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry, logging, and production reporting.
- Strong reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward learning and development.
