Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a technical sales team focused on precision springs and components, defining territory strategies and targets.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for key customers across automotive, industrial machinery, and OEM segments.
- Translate complex customer needs into engineered solutions, coordinating with engineering and operations teams to deliver tailored proposals.
- Drive the full sales cycle from lead generation and proposal development to pricing, negotiation, and contract execution.
- Manage forecast accuracy, pipeline hygiene, and sales analytics to inform leadership and stakeholders.
- Build robust customer relationships, acting as the primary technical liaison and ensuring post-sale satisfaction and repeat business.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on product development, pricing, and service offerings to stay ahead of market trends.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years in technical sales with a track record in selling precision springs or similar mechanical components.
- Experience leading sales teams or field-based management.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design, manufacturing processes, materials, and tolerances; ability to read engineering drawings.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to develop and manage key accounts, forecast revenue, and meet targets.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics.
