In this role you will diagnose, repair, and service Continental vehicles using state of the art tools and equipment. You will perform routine maintenance, system diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and component replacements while adhering to OEM specifications and the workshop SOPs. Your attention to detail will ensure that every vehicle leaves the bay in top condition and with complete documentation for customers and warranty purposes. You will also collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate timing and cost estimates, ensuring transparent communication with customers and colleagues. Additionally, you will contribute to a safe, clean, and efficient workshop environment by following health and safety guidelines and best practices. Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Continental vehicles to OEM standards.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using diagnostic tools and software.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections after service and ensure quality control.
- Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate estimates and timelines.
- Reassemble and test drive vehicles to verify issue resolution.
- Maintain workshop safety and cleanliness, following SOPs and quality procedures.
- Maintain accurate service records, warranty documentation, and parts usage.
Qualification
- Proven experience as an automotive technician, preferably with Continental brands.
- Certificate or diploma in automotive technology or related field.
- Strong diagnostic skills for electrical and engine management systems.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools (OBD-II, manufacturer software) and workshop equipment.
- Excellent problem solving and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with good time management.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to work in Kuala Lumpur.
