Metropolitan Stageworks seeks a passionate Theater Producer to lead ambitious productions in New York City's vibrant arts scene. You’ll oversee development, budgeting, casting coordination, and partner relations from concept to curtain call.

Responsibility
- Develop and uphold artistic vision and program strategy for assigned productions.
- Prepare and manage budgets, fundraising plans, and financial reporting.
- Oversee contract negotiations with creatives, venues, and vendors.
- Coordinate casting, scheduling, rehearsals, and production calendars.
- Collaborate with directors, designers, and marketing to ensure cohesive productions.
- Manage partnerships with artists, funders, and community organizations.
- Lead on-stage and off-stage risk management and safety compliance.
- Monitor project milestones and ensure on-time curtain.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in theatre, arts administration, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in theatre production or producing.
- Proven budgeting and financial management skills.
- Strong project management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience with grants and fundraising; familiarity with donor relations.
- Knowledge of union contracts and labor laws (e.g., SDC/AEA) is a plus.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Strong networks in NYC theatre community (preferred).
