Responsibility
- Oversee all technical, logistical, and operational aspects of theater productions.
- Coordinate closely with directors, designers, and creative teams to deliver each show’s vision.
- Manage production schedules, budgets, and vendor relationships with precision.
- Lead safety training and enforce compliance with all theater safety protocols.
- Supervise technical staff and stage crews, providing mentorship and clear direction.
- Resolve production challenges swiftly to ensure seamless performances.
- Monitor equipment maintenance and facility readiness.
- Drive continuous improvement in production processes and backstage operations.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Theater Production, Arts Management, or related field.
- 3+ years of leadership experience in professional stage production.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills in fast-paced environments.
- Proven expertise in stagecraft, lighting, sound, and technical equipment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Demonstrated success managing budgets and complex logistics.
- Proficiency in production software (AutoCAD, QLab, or similar) preferred.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and event-specific hours.
