Responsibility
- Operate and maintain stage machinery, lighting rigs, and audio systems during rehearsals and performances.
- Collaborate with the production team to run cues, manage props, and ensure safety on stage.
- Assist with setup and strike of sets, rigs, and technical equipment between scenes.
- Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and calmly during live performances.
- Maintain accurate inventory of equipment and coordinate with vendors for repairs.
- Assist in load-in and load-out, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualification
- Proven experience in theatre technology, including lighting, sound, and rigging.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible hours per production schedule.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with computerized lighting consoles and basic sound systems.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to stay calm under pressure.
