Responsibility
- Deliver undergraduate and graduate theology courses with engaging pedagogy across biblical, historical, systematic, and practical theology.
- Develop, update, and assess course syllabi, assignments, and assessments to align with program outcomes.
- Mentor and supervise student research projects, theses, and capstone experiences.
- Conduct original research and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.
- Contribute to program development, accreditation, and program assessment activities.
- Engage with local churches, faith communities, and public discourse to promote scholarly dialogue.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum design, digital learning resources, and distance education initiatives.
Qualification
- PhD in Theology or Religious Studies from an accredited institution; ABD considered with significant progress.
- Minimum of 3 years of college or seminary teaching experience.
- Demonstrated record of scholarly research and publications in theology or religious studies.
- Ability to teach across diverse theology domains and across multiple levels of study.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusive pedagogy in classroom and community settings.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong public speaking and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency with digital learning platforms, online course development, and assessment tools.
