Graceford Seminary invites applications for a full-time Theology Professor to join our distinguished faculty in Atlanta, Georgia. The ideal candidate will contribute to undergraduate and graduate programs, mentor students, and advance scholarly impact through teaching, research, and service.
\nWe seek a collaborative, biblically grounded scholar who champions rigorous pedagogy, inclusive learning environments, and meaningful engagement with local churches and communities.
\nAs a member of our faculty, you will design curricula, deliver engaging courses across biblical, historical, and systematic theology, supervise research, and participate in governance and accreditation activities.
Responsibility
- Teach courses in theology across undergraduate and graduate programs, including biblical studies, systematic theology, historical theology, and ethics.
- Develop innovative syllabi, assessments, and online/hybrid learning experiences that meet accreditation standards.
- Provide mentorship and advising to students, supervise theses/project work, and support career development.
- Engage in scholarly research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and present at academic conferences.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and program assessment.
- Serve on committees contributing to accreditation, strategic planning, and community outreach.
Qualification
- PhD in Theology or related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the college/university level; track record of effective instruction.
- Strong scholarly publication record and ongoing research agenda.
- Ability to teach across multiple theology domains and to work with diverse student populations.
- Demonstrated commitment to mentoring students and fostering inclusive learning environments.
- Proficiency with learning management systems and digital pedagogy; ability to design online/hybrid courses.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and service-oriented mindset.
