We are seeking a Tourism Experience Coordinator to design, tailor, and deliver unforgettable itineraries for diverse clients, while ensuring operational excellence and exceptional guest service.
Based in Lisbon, this role blends creative travel planning with hands-on coordination, vendor partnerships, and proactive client communication. You will collaborate with local guides, hotels, and activity partners to craft seamless journeys that exceed expectations.
Responsibility
- Design and customize itineraries that showcase authentic local experiences while meeting client objectives and budgets.
- Coordinate supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and manage contracts with hotels, guides, and activity providers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients from inquiry through post-trip follow-up, ensuring exceptional service at every touchpoint.
- Monitor bookings, confirmations, visa requirements, insurance, and travel logistics to minimize risk and delays.
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to upsell premium experiences and add-on activities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of destinations, regulations, safety standards, and market trends.
- Produce accurate itineraries, vouchers, and detailed trip documentation; support post-trip feedback and continuous improvement.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in tour operations, travel planning, or a related role.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Portuguese and/or Spanish is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and deadline discipline.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, itinerary planning software, and MS Office; comfortable with data entry and reporting.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to support international clients and peak travel periods.
