In this role, you will collaborate with clients, translators, and engineers to ensure high-quality translations across marketing, software, and documentation. You will shape terminology and style guidelines, manage translation memories, and contribute to scalable localization workflows.
Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end translation projects from scope to delivery, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with clients, linguists, and engineers to establish style guides and glossaries.
- Translate and adapt content across marketing, software, technical, and product documentation.
- Edit and proofread translations, perform QA checks, and ensure terminology consistency.
- Leverage CAT tools to maintain translation memories and terminology databases.
- Train and mentor junior translators and coordinate project assignments.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of professional translation experience in English to at least one target language (Spanish, French, or Mandarin preferred).
- Native-level fluency in English and at least one other language; strong intercultural communication skills.
- Proficiency with CAT tools (SDL Trados Studio, memoQ, Memsource) and QA processes.
- Experience translating across marketing, software, and technical documentation.
- Excellent editing, proofreading, and attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
