Responsibility
- Analyze transportation data to identify cost-saving opportunities and service improvements across lanes and modes.
- Develop and monitor KPIs for on-time delivery, freight spend, and carrier performance.
- Collaborate with carriers, 3PLs, and internal teams to optimize routing, load planning, and capacity utilization.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly dashboards for leadership highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Lead cost-to-serve analysis and scenario modeling for network changes and capital investments.
- Support RFQs, vendor selection, and contract negotiations with data-backed insights.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent methodologies and champion data governance in TMS/ERP data.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Analytics, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in transportation planning, logistics analytics, or supply chain optimization.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis; SQL or Python skills are a plus.
- Experience with TMS/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle Transportation Management) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations and executive-ready insights.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
