Atlas Mobility Solutions is hiring a results-driven Transportation Planner to lead multi-modal mobility projects in Houston. You’ll collaborate with city agencies, developers, and communities to design safer, more efficient transportation networks that serve diverse populations.

Responsibility
- Lead multi-modal transportation planning projects from scoping to implementation.
- Develop traffic impact analyses, corridor studies, and complete streets concepts.
- Model travel demand and traffic patterns using industry-standard tools.
- Collaborate with city agencies, consultants, and community stakeholders to align plans with policy goals.
- Prepare memos, presentations, and reports for senior leadership and public forums.
- Support grant writing and funding applications for transportation projects.
- Monitor project performance, timelines, and budgets; manage workstreams and deliverables.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in urban planning, civil engineering, transportation engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of transportation planning experience, preferably in an urban or regional context.
- Strong knowledge of transportation planning methods, MSAs, and GIS; experience with traffic modeling tools (e.g., VISUM, VISSIM, or EMM).
- Proficiency in GIS (ArcGIS/QGIS) and data analysis in Excel/SQL.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present to diverse audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work under deadline pressure, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
