Responsibility
- Develop and optimize transportation plans for freight and passenger services to maximize efficiency, reliability, and safety.
- Analyze routing data using GIS and transportation analytics tools; propose improvements.
- Collaborate with operations, logistics, and procurement to align capacity planning with demand.
- Monitor performance metrics such as on-time delivery, transit times, and fuel consumption, and implement improvements.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and local permits; manage risk and safety programs.
- Prepare capacity plans, scenario analyses, budgets, and cost analyses for transportation initiatives.
- Coordinate with city agencies and infrastructure teams on traffic management and mobility projects.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in transportation planning, logistics, or mobility programs.
- Proficiency with GIS (ArcGIS or QGIS), SQL, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (FMCSA, DOT) and safety standards.
- Project management experience and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
