Elevate digital products with NovaWave Studio, a premium design studio specializing in human-centered experiences for global brands. We are seeking a visionary UI/UX Designer to join our team in Berlin and drive outstanding design across web and mobile platforms.
You’ll partner with product managers, engineers, and researchers to translate complex requirements into intuitive interfaces, scalable design systems, and measurable outcomes.
As part of our design-led culture, you’ll own end-to-end design—from discovery, research and wireframes to high-fidelity visuals and interactive prototypes—while advocating accessibility, usability, and performance.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end UI/UX design for web and mobile apps from discovery to delivery, balancing user needs with business goals.
- Create wireframes, user flows, journey maps, and high-fidelity prototypes using Figma and other industry tools.
- Conduct user research and usability testing; synthesize insights and translate into actionable design decisions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and research teams to ensure design feasibility and quality.
- Develop and maintain a scalable design system including components, tokens, and accessibility guidelines.
- Present concepts to stakeholders; iterate based on feedback and data-driven insights.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of curiosity, feedback, and excellence.
Qualification
- 3+ years of UI/UX design experience for digital products (web and mobile).
- Strong portfolio with case studies demonstrating end-to-end design processes.
- Proficiency in Figma; experience with principle/ProtoPie is a plus; solid prototyping skills.
- Solid understanding of design systems, typography, color, accessibility (WCAG 2.1+), and responsive design.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and storytelling skills; able to defend design decisions with rationale.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.
