Responsibility
- Drive company van to visit assigned retail outlets, wholesalers, and customers within Klang/Port Klang area.
- Promote and sell FMCG and tobacco products, ensuring effective in-van merchandising and stock rotation.
- Build and nurture strong business relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and objectives set by management.
- Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Collect payments and maintain accurate sales records and daily reports.
- Ensure timely delivery and replenishment of products to customers.
- Maintain excellent product knowledge and keep up-to-date with the latest market developments.
Qualification
- Proven experience as a van sales representative, preferably in the FMCG or tobacco industry.
- Possession of a valid Malaysian driving license (GDL/D/E, as required).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of Klang/Port Klang route and surrounding areas.
- Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
- Minimum SPM or equivalent; diploma is an added advantage.
- Comfortable with outdoor sales and physically fit for traveling and carrying stock.
- Proficient in basic reporting using digital tools or manual logs.
