Responsibility

  • Perform road-worthiness inspections on passenger cars, vans, and light commercial vehicles in accordance with LTA standards.
  • Verify vehicle documentation, including ownership and repair history, and assess compliance with mechanical, electrical, and safety requirements.
  • Conduct pre-inspection checks of tools and equipment to ensure accuracy and safety during assessments.
  • Prepare clear, concise inspection reports with photographic evidence and recommended actions, and submit to the relevant authorities and internal teams.
  • Communicate inspection results to vehicle owners and workshop personnel and provide guidance on corrective actions.
  • Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment, log results, and assist with monthly audits and quality control processes.

Qualification

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or apprenticeship training in vehicle maintenance is preferred.
