Join Aurora Film Collective, a boutique production house in Los Angeles, creating premium content for brands, entertainment, and documentary storytelling. This full-time Video Producer role oversees projects from development through delivery, guiding teams across development, production, and post-production.
We seek a collaborative, detail-oriented producer who thrives in fast-paced environments and loves storytelling. You will be the bridge between clients, directors, and crews to ensure creative excellence on time and on budget.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end production from concept to delivery, ensuring creative alignment and on-time execution.
- Develop and manage production calendars, budgets, schedules, and risk assessments.
- Source, hire, and manage crew and talent; coordinate casting and location scouting.
- Collaborate with directors, cinematographers, editors, and sound teams to realize the creative vision.
- Handle permits, insurance, safety protocols, and on-set logistics for shoots locally and on location.
- Liaise with clients and vendors; provide regular progress updates and post-production handoffs.
- Manage post-production workflow, deliverables, and archives with quality control checks.
Qualification
- 3+ years in film or video production, with experience as a Producer or Line Producer on narrative or branded content.
- Strong budgeting, scheduling, and risk management abilities; proficient with production tools (e.g., StudioBinder, Celtx).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills under tight deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing creative priorities.
- Knowledge of permits, location scouting, crew procurement, and on-set safety.
- Bachelor’s degree in film, media, communication, or equivalent experience.
- A showreel or portfolio demonstrating successful productions and outcomes.
