Aurora Studio Collective is a forward-thinking film and video production company headquartered in Los Angeles. We produce high-impact content for brands, studios, and independent creators. We’re looking for a proactive Video Producer who can own projects from concept through final delivery.
As our Video Producer, you’ll partner with creative leads, manage schedules and budgets, oversee on-set operations, and guide post-production to a polished final product. This role is based in Los Angeles with opportunities to travel for shoots. We value collaboration, attention to detail, and a passion for telling visually compelling stories.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong communication, organizational excellence, and the ability to adapt to fast-paced production environments.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end video production from concept through delivery across multiple platforms (TV, web, social).
- Collaborate with creative directors, writers, and clients to develop compelling narratives and shot lists.
- Plan and manage production schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, including on-set logistics and crew coordination.
- Direct or supervise on-set crew to achieve creative vision while ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Oversee post-production workflow, including editing, color grading, sound design, and final mastering.
- Coordinate with producers and vendors to secure equipment, locations, and permits.
- Maintain brand consistency and production quality standards while meeting tight deadlines.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Communications, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years in video production, directing, or producing across commercials, promos, and short-form content.
- Strong storytelling, composition, and camera operation skills; solid lighting and audio fundamentals.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition) and Final Cut Pro; basic color grading with DaVinci Resolve.
- Experience managing budgets and timelines; excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- On-set safety awareness and ability to adapt to fast-paced production environments.
- Portfolio or showreel demonstrating range and technical proficiency.
