This role offers hands-on leadership across planning, shooting, and post-production, with opportunities to mentor junior producers and shape creative processes.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end production planning for film and video projects, from concept to delivery.
- Collaborate with the Creative Director, Director of Photography, editors, and sound designers to develop shot lists and schedules.
- Develop and manage project budgets, calendars, and vendor agreements; secure permits and insurance as needed.
- Scout locations, coordinate crew, talent, equipment, and transportation; optimize logistics for on-set efficiency.
- Oversee on-set production, safety, and compliance; ensure high-quality capture and efficient workflow.
- Coordinate post-production handoffs, monitor editing, color, sound, and visual effects to meet creative specs.
- Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and mitigate risks to ensure on-time delivery.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in film or video production, with a track record of delivering on a variety of formats (commercials, short films, branded content).
- Strong budgeting, scheduling, and vendor management skills; proficient with production software (StudioBinder, Frame.io, Shotgun, or similar).
- Excellent on-set leadership and team management abilities; ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
- Portfolio or reel demonstrating range of production experience, storytelling, and production value.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; fluency in English required.
- Knowledge of safety standards, permits, and compliance; valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
