Job description

Join Magnetic Alliance as a Virtual Estimator and advance your career by supporting an Australian client on meaningful, budget-driven projects—all from the comfort of your home in Metro Manila. This is a full-time, remote position designed for meticulous professionals who thrive in fast-paced, cross-border environments. You’ll be part of a global team dedicated to delivering accurate, timely cost estimates that inform procurement, planning, and execution for a variety of projects.

As a Virtual Estimator, you’ll combine technical analysis with practical business sense. You’ll review project drawings and specifications, develop itemized cost estimates, and maintain clear, auditable records. Your work will support stakeholders across project management, engineering, and procurement, helping to optimize cost, schedule, and value. You’ll leverage estimation software and robust Excel models, performing scenario analyses, risk assessments, and value-engineering opportunities to maximize project value while staying within budget.

We’re looking for a proactive communicator who can translate complex data into actionable insights for clients and internal teams. You should enjoy collaborating with suppliers and engineers, be comfortable navigating remote workflows, and demonstrate a strong commitment to accuracy and deadlines. If you’re motivated by challenging projects and want to contribute to meaningful, globally delivered work, this role is for you.

Why Magnetic Alliance? We support flexible, remote-first work arrangements and offer a collaborative, outcomes-driven culture. You’ll gain exposure to international clients, modern estimation tools, and opportunities for professional growth in a fast-growing organization.

  • Review design changes, perform impact analyses, and update estimates promptly to reflect scope modifications.
  • Utilize estimation software and Excel-based models to conduct scenario planning, line-item pricing, and contingency analysis.
  • Communicate estimates clearly to clients and internal stakeholders, offering value-engineering suggestions where appropriate.
  • Ensure estimates align with client requirements, budgets, and project timelines while maintaining data integrity.

Qualification

  • Proven experience as an estimator or cost analyst, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or architectural projects.
