Responsibility
- Develop and implement comprehensive waste management, recycling, and disposal strategies for diverse client portfolios.
- Analyze waste streams to identify reduction opportunities and establish metrics for diversion and cost savings.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with EPA, state and local requirements; manage permits and reporting.
- Lead data collection and reporting on waste metrics; build dashboards in Excel or Power BI to track performance.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and sales teams to design and deploy sustainable waste solutions.
- Perform environmental site assessments, spill prevention planning, and incident response readiness.
- Support business development with technically solid proposals, presentations, and client communications.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field; Master's preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in waste management, environmental compliance, or sustainability programs.
- Strong knowledge of RCRA, TSCA, hazardous waste regulations, and local compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in data analysis, MS Office, GIS tools, and sustainability software; ability to develop reports and dashboards.
- Excellent project management, written and verbal communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred or eligibility within 2 years.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% and work in field environments as needed.
