GreenStream Environmental Solutions is a leading partner in sustainable waste management for cities and businesses. We are seeking a results-driven Waste Management Project Manager to design, implement, and optimize waste programs that reduce costs, improve compliance, and boost recycling rates.
As a key member of our environmental services team, you will collaborate with operations, regulatory specialists, and clients to deliver measurable outcomes that align with ESG goals.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end waste management projects from scoping and procurement to execution and handover, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and manpower requirements; monitor progress against milestones and KPIs.
- Coordinate with operations teams to optimize collection routes, treatment methods, and diversion rates.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal waste laws; prepare and submit necessary reports.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and control project budgets and cost forecasting.
- Prepare executive-level progress reports and present outcomes to clients and leadership.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or PMP is a plus.
- 5+ years of project management experience in waste management, recycling, or environmental services.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (RCRA, DOT, and state-specific waste rules).
- Proven track record delivering programs that reduce costs and increase diversion rates.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance reporting (Excel, Power BI, or similar).
- Willingness to travel up to 20% as required.
