AquaNova Solutions is seeking a Water and Sanitation Engineer to lead design, implementation, and monitoring of water and wastewater projects. The role blends technical excellence with field leadership to ensure sustainable, compliant, and cost-effective outcomes.
As a Water and Sanitation Engineer you will collaborate with municipalities, utilities, and construction partners to translate complex water system needs into practical designs and actionable plans. You will drive project execution from feasibility through commissioning, ensuring high quality deliverables on schedule and within budget.
Responsibility
- Lead end to end water supply and sanitation project design from concept to commissioning
- Develop and review feasibility studies, hydrological models, and hydraulic calculations
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget; coordinate with stakeholders and contractors
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations including permits
- Prepare technical reports, design drawings, and bid documents using CAD and GIS tools
- Conduct site visits, supervise construction, and support commissioning and performance testing
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross functional teams
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering; PE license preferred or on track
- 5+ years of experience in water supply, sanitation or wastewater projects
- Strong knowledge of hydrology/hydraulic modeling and design standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS; familiarity with BIM
- Experience with project management and client-facing roles
- Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills
- Ability to travel to field sites as needed
