We are seeking a highly skilled Water & Sanitation Specialist to lead projects, drive technical excellence, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve access to safe water and sanitation services.

Responsibility
- Lead the planning and execution of WASH projects, ensuring compliance with donor requirements and local regulations.
- Conduct water quality assessments, sanitation facility design, and hygiene promotion strategies.
- Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation plans, collect data, and produce stakeholder reports.
- Collaborate with local governments, communities, and partners to socialize and scale interventions.
- Prepare technical proposals, budgets, procurement plans, and field implementation guides.
- Manage field teams, provide coaching, ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Monitor project progress, risks, and sustainability outcomes, and facilitate smooth handover to communities.
Qualification
- Bachelor or master's degree in civil engineering, environmental health, public health, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience delivering WASH projects in developing contexts.
- Strong technical knowledge of water supply, sanitation, and hygiene interventions and relevant standards.
- Experience with donor-funded programs and international procurement processes.
- Proficient in data collection, analysis, M&E tools, and reporting; working knowledge of GIS is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills; fluent in English; local language proficiency is a plus.
- Willingness to travel within the region and work in community settings; adaptable and resilient.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and work well under pressure while maintaining safety and quality.
